Location and Other Practical Information
LOCATION
AND DIRECTIONS: East Care Acupuncture Clinic is located
in Suite 318 on the 3rd floor of the Goldstein Building, 130 Seward
Street, in downtown Juneau. The Goldstein Building is on the southwest
corner of Seward St. and Second St. The entrance to the building
is directly opposite the Wells Fargo Bank drive-in entrance on
Seward St.
There is elevator service throughout
the building as well as clean, ample rest rooms on every floor. A
restricted parking zone and the absence of steps at the entry provide
convenient wheelchair access.
The entrance of the Goldstein building is open
from 7 AM to 6 PM on weekdays. Special arrangements must be made if
an appointment is scheduled outside these hours.
TRANSPORTATION
AND PARKING: Given its convenient central location in
the downtown Juneau business and commercial area, East Care is easily
reached by Capital Transit busses. People who live and/or work in
downtown Juneau find it a short walk from almost anywhere.
Parking can sometimes be a challenge. Free one
hour on-street parking is often available in the immediate vicinity.
Since most appointments are completed within an hour, this option
works when space is available. While the parking rules are enforced,
in reality you usually get a few extra minutes. We know of no case
of a patient being ticketed for parking within the time of an appointment.
In addition there is off street parking at the
Municipal Library Parking lot on Ferry Way, about a 4 block walk from
the Goldstein Building. Space in the First Bank and Goldstein Building
Parking lots on Front and Main streets. are reserved. The rules
are strictly enforced in these lots during regular business hours.
Cars will be towed.
OFFICE
HOURS AND APPOINTMENT LENGTH: One hour is typically set
aside for each patient's appointment. Appointments are
scheduled at the patient's convenience on weekdays between 10 AM
and 6 PM. Special consideration is given to patients from out-of-town
who may be transiting Juneau on a restricted schedule.
The clinic may not be
open if no patent is scheduled. Please schedule
your appointment ahead of time. Walk-in
appointments are possible but often difficult
to accommodate.
